About the Chicago Cubs
The Chicago Cubs are a professional baseball MLB team from the USA. They are based in Chicago, Illinois. They compete in the Central Division of the MLB National League. They play their home games at Wrigley Field. This is located on the North Side of the city.
The team was founded in 1870 with the name of Chicago White Stockings. In 1876 they joined the National League as one of the founding teams of the competition. In 1890 they changed their name to Chicago Colts. In 1898 the Chicago Orphans were once again named. The franchise took its name from Cubs in 1903.
Throughout their history the Cubs have won a total of three World Series (1907, 1908, and 2016). In addition to seventeen pennants of the National League. Without forgetting the seven division titles.
